The Notic represents the Vancouver streetball scene — grassroots events built around local talent, DIY production, and a tight-knit community rather than national media attention. Nomadhoops has collaborated directly on Notic events, including annual gatherings at Grays Park.

An annual community event bringing Vancouver's streetball scene together for competition, content, and culture — Nomadhoops has been an active collaborator in recent years, including content production alongside King Handles.

Founded by Lorenzo "Zobeone Kenobi" Baxter as a platform dedicated to preserving, representing, and advancing streetball culture. The name reflects a life built around going wherever basketball is being played — Nomadhoops has never been tied to one court, one city, or one league. Its identity is rooted in movement, competition, history, culture, and connection, captured in the brand's defining statement: "We have no homecourt, but we'll take yours."

Lorenzo Baxter brings firsthand experience as a player, historian, content creator, archivist, and cultural connector. His background includes recognition and participation connected to the AND1 Mixtape Tour era, the Miller Lite Go Pro Challenge on NBA TV, SLAM Magazine, and USA Basketball's 3x3 National Player Pool Alumni under the FIBA 3x3 format. That experience lets Nomadhoops document the culture from the perspective of someone who has lived it — not simply observed it.

Streetball history has often been scattered across VHS tapes, DVDs, magazines, old websites, photographs, and personal memories — many influential players, events, and courts were never properly recorded. Nomadhoops works to bring those stories together in one place, before they're lost.

Nomadhoops operates on four pillars: competing at the highest level the culture allows, connecting streetball communities across cities and generations, documenting the people and moments that define the game, and preserving that record for those who come after.
